Reset the network settings
Reset the network settings on your Xbox 360 console to the defaults.
Here's how:
Press the Guide button on your controller.
Go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
Select Wired Network.
Select Configure Network.
Go to the Additional Settings tab, and then select Restore to Factory Defaults.
Select Yes, Restore to Factory Defaults. This resets the console's network settings only, and not other settings.
Now, restart your console and test your Xbox LIVE connection. Here's how:
Restart your console.
Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
Select Network Settings.
Select Wired Network.
Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.
If this solution worked, your console will connect to Xbox LIVE.

Call Microsoft and tell them. They could probably get your console on to connect.

Purr wrote My Xbox won't connect to Xbox live I have done the obvious like turn of the modem I tried it wired and unwired and it still tells me it's connected to the Internet but box xboxlive when I configureWhen this happens it means that the Xbox LIVE servers are currently down due to maintenance. Give it about 30 minutes and they should be back and running again. (This happens about twice a year)
