What kind do you want (Over-ear, on-ear, or in-ear) and what are you music preferences? Also, are you able to add anything to that budget? A little more goes a long way at this price point.

Well, first of all, what's your budget and your music preference?

Almost any IEM can be worn over the ear by simply turning them upside-down and threading the cables behind your ears. This should make them stay in better. There are a lot of options when it comes to clip-on headphones as well, one of the most compelling being the Koss KSC75. It's an incredible headphone for what you pay. There are options at many higher price point, though. Also, there are IEMs that are made to be worn over the ear and come with a cable holder thingy, like the Soundmagic PL50.

I'd actually stick with $40 if you're looking for IEMs!

There's the Sony MDR-XB41EX, Soundmagic E10, Brainwavz M1, and maybe the cheaper JVC HA-FX1X or the much cheaper Xeport 5010.

Since there are so many options in that price range and since you didn't specify what type, have a look at the guide. Everything listed is a good option.
