Hello, I am looking to build a PC as my current one is starting to become pretty bad. I've never built one and would like some advice on it. The main purpose of the computer will be gaming but I don't game as much as I use to so the only games I would like for it to be able to run nicely is Dota 2, Path of Exile, and very rarely I play a game of CS:GO or so (which is the game my current computer refuses to run at a playable rate). I spent a few days putting together a part list, is there anything you would change? Trying to stay right around the $1000 mark.

The games you want to play are all pretty easy to run so you really don't need to spend that much if you don't want to. Regardless, I'd definitely change some things. It would be useful to have some more information though.

Will you be using the system for anything else? If yes, what exactly?
Will you be overclocking?
What monitor(s) will you be using with this system?
Do you need a kb+mouse? If you're using some cheapo peripherals, this might be a good time to upgrade.

Watching YouTube, other than that not really, web browsing and e-mails. I already have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Oh, and overclocking, I am not really sure. I've never done it before, doesn't seem all that hard. But I probably would not, up in the air however to be honest.

Really no reason to go R5 over i5 IMO(meant i5 over R5 lol), especially since you won't see any benefit and the i5 is $100+ more expensive with half as many threads. RX 570>3GB GTX 1060, but either is more than adequate for sure. If you really wanted, you could even spend a bit more for an RX 580;

I included a nice big SSD, and a nicer/better case. Left PSU and HDD as is because they're fine. Dark Rock Pro 4 won't fit in the P350x, the Dark Rock 4(non Pro) will fit however and will be perfectly adequate for cooling an R5/i5 anyway, especially if you're not overclocking.

Any general tips for building? Or going about ordering the parts. Like find cheapest or do all from one place? Also, would you recommend any case fans for the build?
