Such shocking and surprising news that he had passed away at such a young age.
He had retired from live performing in 2016, citing health reasons. He had suffered from health problems for several years, including acute pancreatitis, in part due to excessive drinking. He had his gallbladder and appendix removed in 2014."
Swedish DJ Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, died at age 28 on Friday, April 20, his publicist confirmed.
"It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii," his publicist Diana Baron said in a statement. "He was found dead in Muscat, Omanthis Fridayafternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their needforprivacy in this difficult time.No further statements will be given."

Loved "The Nights" playing Fifa 14(?) with it in the menu music.

This was one of the most upsetting deaths this year so far. Loved his music.

This still hits me. I'm not very into his music genre but he was one of the very, very few artists who's music I absolutely enjoyed. Was one of the few artists that I could absolutely love and enjoy listening to.
