If you have variants on your main, you keep those ( say you dupe a 500 with no Variants to you main, you'll still have your variants from your mains
if the dummy / l evel 500 has Variants, those will not transfer over.

It's a much lower chance of ban / reset, although I can't confirm either of those, that's my general knowledge, but it's legit so just keep playing the game as much as you can, to increase stats & time played.
