Hello guys and girls,
i am planning on getting a new pc for myself after the holidays, and my estimated budget would be around 800 euros, as I'm from germany
i already have a pc, but it is around 5 years old and costed me then just 400 euros. i dont want to upgrade it, but maybe some parts can be recycled into the new one. here is a summary of the parts which also shows their relative capabilites: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
i would use it for gaming, old classics as well as some newer games, for example middle earth shadow of war as a benchmark. and also the case should look nice, with glowing and stuff (i am a little vein that way ,).
i would love if someone could help me with that, as i am really bad at that but love to play videogames (*_*)
also i don't need anything beside the tower, but if anybody knows a good low cost monitor that would be great, as i would upgrade the monitor probably in summer or around that time

in dire need of help,
ncyto

I think it's going to be worth holding on to that motherboard and buying a used Haswell CPU as an upgrade. DDR4 RAM specifically is stupid expensive rn, and Haswell is still very capable, so just save the money on mobo and RAM.

Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (84.75 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (279.95 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (79.90 @ Caseking)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (52.47 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Total: 497.07

Nice new case and PSU. SSD to go alongside your current 500GB HDD, which you should re-use. Re-use RAM and mobo, then grab a used Haswell(refresh) 4C/4T CPU, like an i5-4440/4460 or Xeon E3-1220 V3. Should be able to get one for about 120-150 euros. Or, you should be able to find a 4C/8T part for around 180-200 euros. Something like an i7-4770/4790, or Xeon E3-1230 V3.

If you must buy new for CPU upgrade for whatever reason, or just can't find any used Haswell CPUs;

Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (112.99 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (84.90 @ Amazon Deutschland)

This with the components I recommended above will come to right around 800 euros.

We can't recommend any monitors because we dont have a budget, you're also several months away from upgrading it anyway. That said, you should be looking to go beyond 1080p at least, so 2560x1080 ultrawide, or 1440p. The RX 580 is more than capable of running both resolutions comfortably, though if I were going 1440p, I'd personally want to spend just a little extra for an 8GB RX 580.

thank you for your answer,
i m looking through the parts and they do look all really good and seem to fit good in my price range.

so you would recommend me to keep my 8GB RAM, my HDD and my motherbouard. i think i would prefer a new CPU over a used one.

i am also somewhat concerned a i do sometimes have a loose connection somewhere in there as the pc freezes if the tower is accidentally moved apruptly. could the motherboard be the reason and should i just replace it to be sure?
and the lowest product, the memory, also wouldnt be needed as my RAM is not bad, right?

and also would you think that it is worth to wait till after chrstmas, as i am thinking that parts would be cheaper afterwards compared to the pre christmas selling
