Dell panels are usually some of the best around. Since you'll be editing you're going to need workspace.

This has that in bag fulls.

Depends what kind of editing. You might want to get an ultrawide. The U2715H is 1440p AFAIK, the Dell monitor Craig linked is 4k.

BenQ actually had a really good monitor for editing that was priced really well but I think it's no longer reasonably priced.

I was looking at an ultrawide as well. What would you recommend? LG?

If it was me, I'd get this;

However the Dell monitor Craig linked is a very good option, especially if you're doing photo editing. Ultrawide is better for video editing and music production. The Ultrawide would still be great for photo editing, the 4k Dell would just be better.

I have this one: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Great monitor granted it isn't IPS but I have no issues with eye strain or viewing angles. You can catch it go on sale below $500 pretty frequently as well.

Not sure what your monitor size preference is but it comes in 24" and 27". The 24" version has a higher refresh rate of 165hz.
