Since July 31st is the non-waiver MLB trade deadline, what trades do you want/plan to see? Obviously, Astros will probably stock up on pitchers (Yu Darvish?) and maybe the Red Sox add a 3B (just realized that they actually added Eduardo Nunez from SF) if they want to really go for the WS.

I'll be updating this thread with all the trades before the deadline.

The Yankees need to do something about their bullpen now that Michael Pineda needs possible Tommy John surgery.

Pineda was a starter.. and their bullpen is fine. They already got David Robertson from the White Sox, and they already have Chapman and Betances. Top 5 bullpen.

If anything, they'd need another starter but they already got Tanaka, Severino, Sabathia, etc. Maybe a Yu Darvish type of pitcher but not sure.

Rockies acquire C Jonathan Lucroy in exchange for a player to be named later. Insane, Rangers gave up 2 top 100 prospects and they only get a player to be named later which is pretty much garbage.

Cubs looking to get Alex Avila from Tigers aswell.

It will be a shit show tomorrow, stay tuned in.

No interesting trades. Yankees got Sonny Gray from A's for 3 players that are insane gambles; Yu Darvish to Dodgers. I'll update this thread when I have the chance, and there's still the waiver trade deadline that I'll be adding.

The waiver trading period is never as intense as it's much harder to push trades through. This was quite a boring trade deadline if I do say so myself. Sonny Gray and Darvish moving weren't blockbuster trades by any means, and those were no doubt the two biggest.

4/10 trade deadline

Exactly. I was surprised Astros did pretty much nothing. I get you want to keep your farm system intact but you're the clear leader for the WS in the AL atleast and their GM didn't do anything. They also gave up their #9 prospect (#5 for Toronto right now) for someone they'll be using strictly in the bullpen as a lefty specialist yet he's been mediocre all season. #9 prospect for 5+ ERA pitcher? Even the Royals weren't going to give up one of their top 15 prospects for him.

Indians acquire OF Jay Bruce from Mets for RHP Ryder Ryan. Bruce, 30, was drafted in the 1st round, 12th overall, by the Cincinnati Reds and played with the Reds from 2008 to 2016 before being traded to the Mets. The 30 year old is currently hitting .256 with 29 home runs and 75 RBI along with an OPS of .841. He'll join the Indians this weekend in Tampa Bay vs the Rays.

Disappointing return to sat the least. I guess the Mets didn't want to pay the rest of his salary.
