This is mainly for JTAG/RGH users but the problem can occur on retails (I just think it's more common on JTAG/RGH consoles)
So I had this error when clicking "MyGames" on the dashboard and when trying to view my downloads, this may happen after you do the avatar update via USB or Xbox Live, it's caused by a corrupted file or something like that.
To fix this navigate to System > Storage and then hover over your hard drive, press LB RB X LB RB X, you will then be prompted to delete the update.
Reboot your console then when you are prompted to download the update click yes.
If you get the constant avatar update after doing this refer to my other thread, if not, you're all done.
