Tap Titan 2

Platform: IPhone, Android
Genre: Role Playing
Release Date: December 14th, 2016
Developer: Game Hive Corporation
Publisher: Game Hive Corporation

Synopsis

The battle continues as Sword Master defends the world from an all new, more dangerous army of invading Titans. Power up Sword Master in new ways to overcome the Titan's ever-increasing strength. The Titans are back, so pick up your sword and begin a new journey!

Gameplay

Lately the apple store and play store are starting to get full of these tap games where you have to tap your screen to either make money or kill enemies. Tap Titan 2 is the exact same thing, It doesn't have have a story of such but doesn't stop it from being a great game. You start at 1 damage per tap of course defeating enemies that are designed around the stages you are on. Each 10-15 stages the environment will change making the enemies look different and also the background. Each stage has 10 rounds where defeat 1 enemy with the final round being a boss that has a lot of health. If you are not equipped enough to defeat the boss you can stick to just defeating normal enemies earning money to upgraded your tap damage. You can also buy minions helping you defeat enemies fast but are on a timer when they hit. Each minion can be upgraded separately increasing damage overtime. Increasing a minion to a specific rank for example when upgrading any minion to level 25 they will reward you will an ability that may increase gold on bosses or increase minion hit time. Just remember the higher the ranks you go the more it's going to cost. They added a new feature in Tap Titan 2 where you can achieve pets over a period. Each pet has different abilities to doubling your tap damage or more gold on each enemy. To rank up your pets you will have to get lucky and hatch the same pet leveling it up. There is also power-ups that you can purchase with some being a shadow that automatically attacks the enemy or double gold for a short period. Once used you have to wait for it to recharge allowing you to use it again. You will also be able to equip clothing increasing a variety of different things in the game while making your character looking better. They have also added a skill book where you will be able to earn skill points allowing you to unlock specific skills. These skills can increase gold earning when app is closed or a chance to have double fairies on skin (Fairies drop random chests that can be gold or a random power-up)

Graphics

A major step in graphics from what we saw in Tap Titan 1. Each enemy has greater consistency and details structured around them. Each environment you will encounter has small graphic details to them for example if you're in a forest you will see leaves fall down in the background and foreground. Each minion you hire battling beside you has its own unique look and attack. Your character has the exact look as it did in the older game and the same attacking schematic when attacking enemies which was a little disappointing to me since I would like to see better graphics when I tap my screen. The customization in this game is also a lot better with cooler looking gear and how it makes your character look. On another note each enemy has its movement and looks. You will come across many and many of the same enemies but they didn't disappoint me with the detail they did to each enemy. Each boss is unique in its own way because you may have actually never seen the boss even if you when through 50 stages. Some may just be a minion you fought but just a lot bigger making it look like a boss. Game runs incredibly smooth even if you have 20 minions helping you fire a lot of shit at the enemies.

Controls

Like every phone game on the store this game is easy as hell. All you have to do is tap your screen and press buttons that will bring you to the upgrades and power-ups. There's no other controls in this game other than tapping. This game is exactly like cookie clicker if anyone has played that game. Tap to make money and upgrade stuff. There is no control manual in the settings but you can turn off sound and music. They even have a calculator which I still haven't figured out why.

Looks like a fun game to play, but jot the biggest fan of tap games lol I just get way to bord tapping away at my phone the whole time. I also like to have more of a story with my games i play which this does not have.

Looks pretty fun for being a constant tapping game. Cool that they made good improvements from the first one, great review man!

Been playing the clan quests and honestly it's got me hooked, it's lots of fun. Can't really find a fault in it apart from the tapping but meh who cares
