It's with the heaviest of hearts I write this but I'm heartbroken to say I will bury one of my best friends by this time tomorrow. While a healthy young man he tragically passed in his sleep at the age of 16 on Tuesday night. I would really like to thank everyone on this website for the laughs you've given me while coming to terms with the grieving process <3 It's amazing to find solace in strangers on the internet. Thankfully my last night with him was the best I could've asked. We laughed, did our handshake and ended the night with a high five and hug, a true symbol of our brotherhood.
He, nor I, knew it was the last time he would go to bed so I leave you with this. If you have someone you love, tell them. Don't go to bed angry at someone or let them go angry at you. You never know which hug, high five, goodbye or goodnight is the last. Life is to short to waste. At 15 I am realizing now. So I end with this, Jomi, fly high my brother and to everyone reading this til now, stay safe. Tell the people you love that you love them.
