Gameplay

The game feels very nice to play but requires some attention when playing. The game can be challenging at times when racing especially if you misjudge a turn or two. F1 2015 keeps you immersed in the game when racing whether your just playing for fun or trying to win against the AI or other players online. The driving on the game feels top notch compared to it predecessors, the cars grip to track so well that you can take corners at high speed and expect not to crash when coming out of the corners. I feel the developers have done a great job with the games overall physics.

In F1 2015, there is plenty of game modes that you can play. You can choose to not only complete the 2015 season but you can also choose to do the 2014 season as well meaning F1 2015 has both the 2014 and 2015 seasons of Formula 1. There is also pro season which which is the ultimate season challenge as pro season is full races, hard AI and no assists. F1 2015 also includes the standard quick race mode where you can race a single track or create a custom season. Multiplayer allows you to play a single track against other players or create a custom season with other players where you and a team mate can take on other driving teams or AI to win the championship.

Graphics

The graphics on the game are outstanding which are being utilized with a brand new engine just for this game. The attention to detail is spot on whether it be the the leftover gravel or grass on the tires or the detail of the steering wheel and cockpit. The rainy weather on this game is also spot on as you can notice the cars tires cutting through the puddles leaving spray behind and the mist of the rain when at high speeds. A new graphical feature with this engine is the sparks created from the underneath of the cars colliding with the ground which looks great.

Controls

The controls for this game are quite simple but not too simple. As with every racing game it has the typical accelerate and brake controls along with the gears being simple as well however there is also quick menu controls for the D-Pad which allows you to choose what tires you want put on when going into the pit stop or to get an update of how your team mate is doing in the race. These are just some of the quick menu controls available. One thing with the controls that I personally like and is something most games don't do is that all the buttons can be changed to how you want them so for example on a Xbox One controller, if you wanted to use A for accelerate and B for brake you can.

Another new feature for controls in this game is voice recognition which is only for Xbox One with Kinect and PlayStation 4 with Camera. There are several voice commands that can be used, an example of one would be getting updates from your race team engineers.
