Aim/Objective
The aim of this game is to build up your base as much as you can, to beat your opponents when you battle against them, and to be as good as you can possibly be. There are also ranking systems in the game that you can challenge yourself with, whether it is to reach a certain rank, to beat your friends or to gain a certain title in the game. There are many different aims/goals you can strive to achieve in this game, it is up to you.

Gameplay
Overview
This game sees you create your 2D base with different materials which differ in strength and durability, weapons to defend your base and other magical abilities. You build up your base by crafting the different materials you want to use to make your base from. When you win battles, you gain different minerals (Wood, Brick, Stone, Copper, Lead, Brass, Bronze, Iron) which you can then craft into blocks of that mineral that you use to build up the structure of your base. To have a strong base, you need to protect your Core. Once you have won/lost a battle, you return to your base. Whatever materials, defenses or other expended things were used/destroyed can be replaced by crafting them again and replacing them in your base. As you progress in the game, you have the ability to craft new defenses and structures for your base to make it stronger.

Battling
When you are battling an opponent, your bases are on the opposite sides of the screen. You attack your enemies almost in an angry birds fashion, with catapults and cannons aiming at your enemies base taking into consideration the force, angle and distance you want to launch your weapons at. You have the ability to destroy the material blocks as well as their defenses to come out on top and win the game. To defeat an enemy and win the game, you must destroy their Core. The Core is the most crucial part of your base as you must protect it because if the enemy destroys it, you lose the battle. The layout of your base is very important to maximize the protection of the Core and the effectiveness of your weapons.

Graphics
I really like the graphics in this game, it is a 2D based game and they are the only dimensions you can work in, but the elements of the game have a third dimension to them with lighting and visual effects. The game sort of has 2 layers, the front one consists of the battle/your base depending what you are doing in the game, and the 2nd layer is a very visually appealing background which gives a very natural feel to the game and also hides a few easter eggs that fans of CaptainSparklez would notice.
The audio in this game is also very similar with the overall medieval theme, a subtle but informing middle aged tune plays in the background which adds to the overall atmosphere of the game and the effect on the player. As you would expect, there are sound effects that play when arrows, cannonballs and other weaponry comes in to contact with your enemy, when the structural blocks that make up the bases are damaged or break, or when one of the players win or loses. There effects let the player know what is going on, almost as if helping them to defeat their enemy.

Controls
The controls in this game are what you'd expect of a mobile device action game, you can select the weapons along the bottom the screen while you are in battle, and touch on the screen and drag your finger to change the factors of the weapon when firing (force, angle etc). When you are designing your base, you drag and drop the different items onto a grid that maps out the size of your base. This is an easy way to create your base and make it how you want it, and as protective as it can be. Not much could be changed in this game regarding the controls, and they perfectly suit the game anyway, making it easy to play.
