Synopsis:

The city is your playground! Nothing will stop you on your freestyle trials bike. Use the urban landscape to pull spectacular tricks - back flips, 360s, wall-rides, ollies, and more. Customize your bike to boost your performance in Time Attack or Stunt mode. Choose between speed and style, developing your own unique riding style. Challenge the best riders in Ghost Mode. The variety and elaborate design of the different backdrops will keep you coming back for hours on end, to achieve a perfect run and knock the top riders off the leaderboard.

Story:

Welcome to the life of a rebel bike rider who causes mischief and also causes a lot of damage to the city. As you free ride through the streets and buildings of this city you will be chased by the police trust me they have taken notice of your actions and are trying hard to put a stop to it. As you destroy city property you might get lucky enough to find some extra cash laying around which can be used to improve your bike or maybe improve your appearance. Just remember not to get caught by the police and be careful when your ride, last thing you would want is to get killed by a falling buidling or shot by the cops.

Gameplay:

Welcome to Urban Trial Freestyle, a really fun dirt bike game were you get to ride through a huge city as everything around you falls apart. You are a rebel dirt bike rider and the cops are on your trail. You will have to be careful as you try to complete tracks without getting killed. As you start out it will have you at the main menu were you can choose to either customize your biker or get into the campaign. Once in the campaign you will go through the tutorial then the real fun starts. As your ride through a destructive play ground you will have to try to avoid objects as you try to either complete challenges or just finish the course. Every course will give you stars which all depends on how well you do on the course, all courses require a certain amount of stars to unlock it. As you collect money you will be able to upgrade your bike in a few different ways that can either positively or negatively effect you. So do make a wise choice when upgrading your bike. Your character can also be customized with different clothes and helmets if you really wanted something else on him. As you start progressing through the tracks they will become a lot harder and a bit frustrating at times as well (at least for me I got a bit frustrated). The tracks themselves always have something falling apart or moving that can distract you from not falling off your bike. Every track has "world records" that if you beat your name will take the current holders place for all the world to see (well just the people that play this game). I currently hold one record on a beginners track but I am sure it will not be for long. Overall this game is really fun and a bit different from other dirt bike obstacle games. The atmosphere of the tracks really makes you feel like you are this rebel dirt bike rider that does not care about human safety or the law. The game play itself can get a bit repetitive at times and I did not find myself playing this game for hours. But with that said I still do recommend picking this game up and giving it a try.

Graphics:

The graphics for Urban Trail Freestyle are actually pretty impressive I thought. There is actually a lot of detail to your biker and everything around you. I was pretty shocked when I first played this game and was pretty impressed by the graphics. With all the explosions and destruction going on around you I thought it might be a little overwhelming but honestly everything flows really well. I personally find these graphics quite unique and think they help this game stand out from other dirt bike obstacle games. Watching all the destruction that happens around you and how well done it is it really helps you feel like you are actually there riding the bike yourself. Overall I found these graphics to be quite impressive and think any other gamer would be impressed as well. They really help this game standout from the rest and I think is a huge factor why I play it so often. I am not sure how they look for the other devices but this graphics review is for PC users who are looking to possibly to get this game.

Controls:

The controls for Urban Trail Freestyle are good and bad at the same time. So before you get confused let me explain a bit more. When you are at the main menu instead of using your mouse to navigate the menu instead they have you using the arrow keys and using enter and esc to go back or forth. I find this extremely annoying and do not like it myself. I think that who ever came up with that idea did not really think it through. It does not ruin the game but is pretty annoying. But the controls for the actual game play are really easy to use and learn and fit the game well. You just use the arrow keys to move forward and backward, the up and down arrows are used to balance your bike and biker as you move over obstacles. I find these controls for game play really good sense it really helps you get into the game sense you have to focus on not tipping your bike over. Overall the controls for the game are really easy to learn and sense there is a tutorial no one should have issues with them. The menu controls is a bit annoying and I wish they would have done them a different way but that does not mean it ruins the game because it does not.
