Hello all. I am looking to beef up my truck and had some questions for someone who knows about that kind of thing! I am looking to get an after market exhaust system and a few other things.. I am going to go through the set up I am going to be putting in and I would like opinions and criticism. Truck has the 4.8 Vortec in it, stock.

Again, this is all I have researched so far. I will be repainting my truck Black or Dark Blue, not sure yet. Any input like how much horsepower i will actually gain, and any technical opinions are highly asked for. Thanks!

I think if you color match the grill and mirrors it'll look better too, I'd skip the bullydog and try to get a custom tune done by somebody.

Get rid of that hood. It looks ugly and doesn't suit the truck. Murder it out and lift it maybe? Lowered silverados look good too. Everything else looks good. Except that hood. EW.

I have to agree, I threw the hood in there just to get opinions. Not a big fan of it either, maybe is it was a first or second gen but doesn't look good with mine.

I agree but i like the bullydog for on the fly adjustments, its very user friendly, and i like being able to make changes on while out on the road. Just my thoughts, i agree someone who is a professional will more than likely do a better job, but unless they will drive out to my truck everytime i want to adjust something, i think i am going to stick with the bully dog. Thanks for your input though it is appreciated!

Check out [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] if you're looking for some ideas.

If it were my truck it would be all one colour (probably black) and dropped on its ass with some big ass shiny rims.
Like this.

If you colour matched everything on yours either the original silver or went for a full vinyl wrap (cheaper than a full re-spray) it would look amazing with the plans that you have!. Just maybe not the scooped hood kinda race car-ish, but hey, Its your truck not mine.

Keep us updated on stuff you do to it. It would be nice to see a truck build as there isn't many trucks across the pond..... We seem to drive vans

Kind of hard to see mods done to this truck seeing as it the cheap "for work" version.
