Game Information
Release Date: November 15, 2001
Developers: Blitz Games
Publishers: Microsoft Game Studios
Platforms: Xbox
Genre: Party
Players: 1-4

Synopsis
Fuzion Frenzy is a non-stop party game. which combines frenetic action of a futuristic street sport with the action-packed fun of mini-games set in a dynamic 3-D urban environment. The game includes six arenas and more than 45 mini-games.

Gameplay
Fuzion Frenzy is a game that will have four players vying for the top spot in a tournament. In a tournament, players can select from playing either two, four, or six stages. Each stage hosts certain minigames that in other stages won't have. In each stage, players will play three different minigames in that stage before heading onto the next stage. Players get to choose from six different characters to play as. In tournament mode, players are awarded points and depending on position each player gets, determines the amount of points earned. Players will get to play in a variety of games. Some games include: boat races, hockey, sumo, pinball, and many other unique games that will surely intrigue players to play again. Some games are single based while other minigames are cooperative or two versus two minigames. After playing the third minigame in a stage, players will participate in a special minigame in which players must at least put 3 of their orbs that were earned from the minigames before and play them in the minigame and can either bank the rest of their orbs or risk playing them to try and earn extra points to gain the lead. This special minigame will have orbs scattered across the playing field. The orbs will be either colorless which any player can pick them up or be a certain color that can only be picked up by the player with the same color. After picking up the orbs, players must deposit the orbs into the goal zone to earn points while avoiding other players that will engage and attack them to steal their orbs and score them. The player with the most points after the special minigame is determined the winner and becomes the tournament winner.

Graphics
For being compatible with the Xbox 360 and having high definition, the graphics were fantastic and had phenomenal quality compared to playing the game back on the original Xbox. Each of the characters had their own unique visuals, characteristics, and features. With each character having their own color scheme, the coloring of their outfits really suits them and fits the time era of being in the future with their gadgets and specs visible on them. The layout of the playing field is rather dark and dimmed due to the dark colors that really don't add much of an appealing view rather than the center of the action where more bright colors are well seen. For thee most part, there isn't really much of a background to see since most minigames are placed inside an area with no scenic view, just an enclosed location. On the contrary, some minigames enlighten the dull and dim colors with the bright colors to brighten up the game and really does make the level more appealing to glance around at. Overall, the lack of bright colors is what really makes some minigames boring by just playing in a dimmed location with little variety of colors to lighten the tone of the game.

Controls
The controls are no terms of difficulty especially when players are shown right before starting up a minigame. The controls for each minigame will be displayed, noting what each button will perform. As with that, players can also do a practice session to get more comfortable with the controls, as well as the minigame. For certain games, the controls will be simple as using just the control stick to maneuver the character while other minigames will have players use the A,B,X,Y buttons in a combination with the control stick. Nevertheless, the controls are standard and really don't prove much of a difference to any other game that uses any of the button commands as on here.

I remember playing this game right when it came out.
This was a game I blasted the speakers just to hear the announcer.
Was a great game to play with the family.
All the mini-games were amazing.
