Bans are going around for the Halo 3 double exp mods. Please be cautious because Microsoft is aware of it.

I know because I have been suspended until 8/15/2014.

Here are the details involved:

The conduct that caused this suspension may include but is not limited to:

Utilizing unauthorized methods to gain advantage or disrupt the competitive landscape of Xbox Live
Intentionally playing with someone who is using unauthorized software, methods, or modifications
Exploiting game vulnerabilities or glitches
Network interference or manipulation
Player feedback or complaint abuse
Console tampering

I have not received the mods nor have tampered with my console but just playing with those who have justifies for a ban.
Also, many casuals are filing complaints so stay off of Halo 3 for a while if you have received the mods.

Yep, I also got a 2 week suspension for the same reason. I'm very confident it's because of complaints filed due to modded exp.

Doubt it, that would be up to 343 not the enforcement team. 343 doesn't care about Halo 3 at all, they let auto aim run mathcmaking.

I was thinking about getting my EXP modded on my main, so thanks for the heads up. I'll just stick with my legitimate stats for now.

If your going to do it make it believable.
On a new account I have 5k exp out of 500 games and I was suspended. But on my main I have 7k exp out of 8000 games (only added 1000 to test it out), and I'm not suspended.

I believe this is because they bans are due to complaints, rather than an automated system.
So bottom line, make your record legitimately possible.

somebody gave me 5000 exp in while I was playing ranked matches... I didn't even want it and now it doesn't look legit. They better not ban me for it.

Same thing happened to my friend. If people file a complaint on you, you will get a 2 week suspension.
