Gameplay
Players will engage in various types of sea battles. Players will get to choose from a wide assort of different boats to use which are have unique weapon setups. A lightweight boat like the Speedboat is fast and agile but is very limited to the number of weapons it can carry. The Devilboat is the heaviest of all classes with more armor and holds multiple types of weapons like torpedoes and mines. The Devilboat also carries more machine guns or chain guns compared to the other types of boats featured in the game. Some boats also have special weapons which are unlocked during the game and prove to be very powerful. Some ships also posses a SAM which is launched into the air to attack any land defenses like bunkers and other gun mounts. Players will engage in 28 total missions in which they will have to raid, defend, or escort depending on the mission criteria. The player's weaponry will automatically lock onto a target by seeing a arrow of the enemy and players are free to fire away at them. The weather will be different for many of the levels in the game which will affect the outcome of the waves making it more difficult for players to advance through the harsh conditions as well as increasing the difficulty to aim at their enemies. Upon destroy enemy boats, they will drop ammo crates and health for players to pick up.

Graphics
Back then, the graphics were great for its time of debuting. All the various types of boats looked unique with their dynamic characteristics and boat customizations. The weapons had that worn look to them as if they had been used for a certain period of time. The details on the boats like the paint scheme and minor add-ons looked great. The explosions from the ships upon being destroyed is good and players can see the pieces from the boat fly in the air as it hits the water, causing little imprints in the water. The water had great fluidity and had that surrealism look to it which was fantastic to see. The sparks from the machine guns firing were awesome and resembled that of actual guns firing. The torpedoes as they traveled just a few inches below the surface of the water looked quite remarkable to how surreal it looked to an actual torpedo traveling underwater. The structures weren't that appealing in terms of detail which looked vague. Overall, the graphics didn't draw back really anything the game possesses and is really quite well for the quality of the scenic views the game features.

Controls
For a game like this, the controls aren't necessarily difficult to understand. The firing buttons are similar to many first person shooters. The only difference with that is the left trigger operates the primary weapon while the right operates the secondaries. Unlike most games when switching weapons, the command for this would be the A button instead of the typical Y button. This game does have a unique button layout of its own due to the type of genre this game is but really is quite comfortable for players to get used to.
