Synopsis
Choose your favorite Nicktoons star and let the multiplayer mayhem begin. Nickelodeon Party Blast lets up to four players duke it out as SpongeBob SquarePants, Otto and Reggie Rocket, Angelica and Tommy Pickles, Invader Zim, Eliza Thornberry, and Jimmy Neutron. In five different game types with multiple levels, you can lob food at Tommy, race Otto Rocket down rapids, shoot hoops and pull tricks wearing in-line skates, blast Goooze at SpongeBob SquarePants, and more. During your battles, you can also find collectables, unlock minigames, and use power-ups.

Gameplay
In this game, players will be able to play as their favorite cartoon character from various Nickelodeon shows in multiple types of mini-game battles. Players will battle in food fights where they must throw food at each which decreases the player's health and the one player left standing wins the match. In basketball, players will have to score baskets to earn points. Along with that, players can perform tricks to increase their score and use power-ups to their advantage. Another game players will participate in is spray and squirt in which players must squirt liquids at each other to earn points, this game also includes power-ups to use throughout the duration of the match. Another mini-game is the pipe challenge in which players must collect tubes that must be connected to the rocket to pump the air into the rocket so that when it takes off, the player will earn points. Players will have to watch out as other players can disconnect their tubes and use the stolen tubes as their own. The last mini-game is race in which players will use power-ups at their disposal to reach the finish line first before the other racers reach there. The game features over 20 different stages in which the setting of each mini-game will be changed to the setting of the location the game is taking place. Players will notice stars that appear on the playing field, by collect bronze stars, the player will be able to unlock new stages to play on while gold stars allow the player to operate special weapons to use as their advantage.

Graphics
Compared to what the characters portrayed in the actual show, the characters in the game lacks that similarity to what they look like on the show. The only think that resembles precisely about the characters are the clothing of each character. The faces of the characters are really plain and vague. It's really unclear to see the details on each face of the characters since the graphics aren't great in both colors and clarity. On certain themes of the game, the background flows really well with the gameplay but there are some others that really seem to just drain the glorious aspects of the gameplay since the theme is really boring and has limited details. The characters appear to have that polygon-like appearance similar to the Mario games featured on the Nintendo 64. Overall, the graphics aren't spectacular to view and really shows no similarities to the characters at all.

Controls
For a game of its kind, the controls could be somewhat new to players but really aren't difficult to understand. Even though there are 5 different mini-games that are completely different from each other, the controls are really quite the same. On some of the mini-games, the control features will have buttons that serve no purpose since there is no control function for that button on that particular game type. For each gametype, the main control to shoot, throw, and operate machines are the same function. Overall. the controls of the game itself aren't too fancy in difficulty and should be easy for younger kids to understand and have a excellent play through.
