Info
Title: Puzzle Kingdoms
Developer: Infinite Interactive
Publisher: Strategy First
Release Date: 16 Apr 2009

Synopsis
Puzzle Kingdoms challenges players to plan out strategic attacks in order to defeat their opponents. Order troops across the map, conquering cities through innovative puzzle gameplay. Players build and manage armies led by heroic commanders to save the world of Etheria from the brink of destruction. By matching corresponding gems on the game board, players will both inflict damage on enemy forces while building mana that can be used to perform devastating attacks that will cripple their opponents.

Gameplay
I've had Puzzle Kingdom in my Steam library since it came out really, I had bought it for my younger cousin to play on, and she loved it. It is directed more towards kids as it's not a game an adult will get hours of fun from. I play this game from time to time but it's not what I call exciting. It's in fact very boring after about 15 minutes. I'm not sure if that's just me or if everyone will find this boring, but at the time, my cousin loved it. It's not that it's not a good game, because it is for the most part, it's just that it is quite repetitive in what you do. There are loads of stages to complete, but I just cannot drag myself to play anymore as I've done most of it and nothing ever changes.

Graphics
The graphics are very average for a 2D puzzle game, but there isn't a load you can to to a 2D game apart from put some fancy light and effects in. But this isn't an issue in any way. The graphics are fine with nice colors and rich color tones. The transitions in the slide shows are smooth, which makes the overall experience a whole lot better. The UI is very user friendly as you would expect for a game directed to the younger generation. The way that the game launches is brilliant, the title sequence is very professional with nice looking images, overall very well laid out and great color choices.

Controls
This is going to have to be very short as there is only really 2 main buttons you have to use. The 2 buttons on the mouse controls everything you do in this game, the keyboard isn't needed at all. These again are very user friendly, it's almost impossible for anyone not to get the hang of these quickly. MOUSE1 is the main button that you press as it's the primary button for every application/game, but I cannot remember even using MOUSE2 in this game due to it just not being needed. Very nice to have a game that has 1 main button.
