Info
Title: Dogfight 1942
Genre: Action
Developer: City Interactive
Publisher: CI Games
Release Date: 21 Sep 2012

Synopsis
Piloting a wide range of aircraft, players engage in aerial dogfights and dangerous fighter missions across the major theaters of war during WWII. Featuring realistic aircraft, DOGFIGHT 1942 introduces cutting-edge flight dynamics with unprecedented arcade accessibility. Fly over 40 historically accurate planes, ranging from the fabled P-38 Lightning and Britain's Spitfire, to the feared Messerschmitt 109 and Japanese Kate.

Gameplay
Dogfight 1942 has had mixed reviews in the past, but i actually like this game. I've played many World War II simulator games, but this is right up there with the best. The story is also very good and easy to follow. I found this easy to play as they hadn't gone overkill on the physics and the aiming system is very nice to use. This isn't exactly a fast paced game as the missions can drag on a bit, once you think you've finished another assignment pops up. It's a brilliant addition to anyone's Steam Library...

Graphics
The graphics are nice, not the best but good enough for the game. The sky detail is brilliant i must say. The terrain on the ground is of high enough quality as this can make the gaming experience better. But the best bit of the graphical side of this game are the plane models. The planes are pretty much perfect and the paint jobs are brilliant. it has nice customization options.

Controls
Everything is controlled by the mouse apart from speed controls, WASD as normal is to control the speed of the aircraft to keep it easy. All the flying direction and shooting is controlled by the mouse. But it is so easy to steer it's untrue, I always thought flying games on PC using the mouse and keyboard were impossible, but I was so wrong. I like this game very much and is very easy to play. So if you do plan on getting this game, be asured that you'll be mastering the skies in no time.
