Hey guys so i am going to share with you guys some tips that i think might benefit You guys!

My story

I had a YouTube account around a year ago. Im going to share with you guys my youtube experience. So i first started off with doing basic(terrible montages) with movie maker. Pro right? The got into sony vegas and after affects etc. This gave me a lot of space to improve my videos and add alot more of my own ideas into my videos. I grew very fast and got to 1k subs then got asked to get partnered with TGN. I didnt want a partnership just for the money it was to have all the cool features. Anyway it took me a month to get partnered and i was very proud to be a partner. In around 5months i got upto 1.7k subs and over 100k views which was AMAZING! 1 day i was at school and randomly decided to check my channel my bg had changed? aswell as my avatar? i thought maybe youtube glitching so i refreshed the browser and all my videos were deleted. I had no power to do anything as the school computers had blocked youtube sign in. When i got home i got my channel back and sent a clownfish message on skype asking someone to do a Bg for me. Someone quickly replied i will if you give feedback on my portfolio. I agreed. It wasnt portfolio he linked me and i was that stupid to clikc onit. it sent my email and pass to him. He changed the email and pass. I couldnt get my account back as he had changed my email. I contacted TGN who were very helpful and said they would try and get my channel back. In a month i got my channel back which was AMAZING OF TGN! but then youtube brought out a thing when the videos are deleted so are the views that the video gained. So my channel look very unlegit. i decided to quit.

Don't follow the trend,Be unique

You may of heard this quite a lot, what it simply means is don't do what everyone else is doing. for example if you decide to do a minecraft let's play....who are people going to seriously watch? people like syndicate! But if you do a unique series which no one else has and people like it there going to not have a choice because there noone else doing it!

Using the right software/Equipment

I bet some of you are still using movie maker right? Well stop. Go get sony vegas or after effects as these are amazing video editing software. Yes these cost a lot of money but you can them for free. Just look at a tutorial on youtube! Anyway i remeber my first ever cod montage i thought it was amazing, i posted it on ttg getting feedback like its terrible. So i decided to get sony vegas wich gave me a lot more bonuses such as i could install plugins lots more transitions, video fx etc... Programs like sony vegas give you endless possibilities with your videos unlike windows movie maker etc..
Using the right equipment - This is very important! What would you do if you click on a montage and it was recorded with a phone and shaking everywhere, the quality was terrible etc? I know what i would do! CLICK THE BACK BUTTON! Dont bother starting youtube until youve got the right equipment, youre just gonna get hate etc and noones gonna want to watch. Get a good capture card(xbox,ps3) a good Pc mic. Dont listen to the people who say yeah a 20 dollar capture is okay to start off with. NO IT NOT! youre not going to grow with poor quality videos! I go on more about video and sound quality below!

Stuff that benefits people!

When i was doing YouTube around 6months ago most of my videos such as let's play were not very successful, but when it comes to tutorials its different. i put a minecraft Xbox 360 how to mod tutorial and that video got me 40k views!!! Think of it people are going to want to know how to do cool things what they cant figure out,and if they see something cool on a game they might go and google how to get it.
1 Tip if your doing tutorials - Always make sure your one of the first people to upload it. for example i was waiting for mods to come out for minecraft xbox and upcomes a post onn how to do it,it worked so the first thing i did was record it. BANG 40K views within a couple of weeks.

Looks of your channel

Most of you heard the saying never judge a book by its cover? well YouTube is the total opposite! You know a good channel when you see the channel art, avatar, thumbnails etc. It draws peoples attention, wich makes people have a whole new feel to your channel. For example if i see a shocking channel art i might just decide to go straight off it, but if i see a really nice one i might see if the videos are as good as the channel looks.
Thumbnails - (PARTNERS ONLY) Thumbnail in my eyes are probably the most effective thing of a partnership BY FAR!!! when people search for a video, are they going to click on a one with a default thumbnail or one with a real cool, attractive thumbnail? the second option of course it looks so much more professional.

Tagging your videos

When a user searches something in YouTube, it uses key words to show the most appropriate video. So if someone searched the tech game, YouTube would search for videos with the tags of the tech game. The videos will then be sorted in terms of relevance. At the top will be videos with matches on all of your keywords, in the middle would be videos tagged with around half youre your search keywords and videos listed at the bottom will be videos with the least matches to your keywords.

Try not to stray away from what your video is about. If you were doing a karate demonstration, it would be rather pointless tagging it with something like cheese.
YouTube does have a tool where it will come up with some tags for your video. If you run out of space, simply post them in your description of the video, and it will still work.

Social networking

Offer more ways of your community to stay connected to you and your channel.
You can do this by making an official Facebook page or a Twitter account. By doing this and posting the links to them in the description of your video and channel, you will be able to update people when new videos are uploaded in more than one way, and you will be able to update them with updates to the channel such as a new series of shows.

Adding Friends

Adding friends is a great way to get popularity for your channel.Just go find a load of randomers off youtube and send them a friend request(most of the time they accept) Then send a mass message to all of them linking your video/channel and telling them what its about, maybe say i would also love to check your content out or something at the end of the message and they might send you a link back to check their channel/video

Routine/Timetable/Plan

To be successful and professional you need to have a set routine. Dont do 3 videos a day then upload the following week. Keep a steady pace. For example you dont see Pewdiepie upload 5 videos in 2 days then have a week off. This will also help you stay on track with your uploads which will benefit you alot! Maybe write in down. Say minecraft on a monday fifa on a Tuesday. Then have a 2day break. If your going to have a long break then tell your subscribers!

Video and sound Quality

Video quality is very important to a channel. For example if i type in a tutorial for example how to mod minecraft i dont want to see a video where i can hardly see the screen as its pixelated or listen to a guy that sounds like hes swallowed his mic. If the video is like that people are going to click straight off it. Dont start youtube until youve got the right equipment!

How you commentate

Commentating is not all about just describing whats going on! its how you sound when you do it. For example if i click on a video and some guy sounds very boring and lazy then im not going to enjoy the video and probably click straight back of it but if someones really upbeat and fun to listen to im gonna stay on the video. For example look at pewdiepie he's all happy and he sounds fun at the start of his videos, not just like ''Hey guys were gonna play minecraft'' Also describing the game on the first episode of a series is the best thing to do, because some of your subscribers may not even know what the game is about!

Anyway thanks for taking your time for reading this, please respect this as ive put a lot of effort into this to benefit you guys! ALL I ASK IN RETURN IS TO THANK THE TOPIC!
