After a dreadful summer with the Dursleys, Harry Potter can't wait to start his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Events take a strange turn, however, when Harry discovers that Sirius Black, the man believed to have betrayed Harry's parents and thus responsible for their murders, has escaped from the wizard prison Azkaban. Black appears to be seeking revenge on Harry for thwarting "You-Know-Who",while the Dementors, Azkaban prison guards sent to Hogwarts to protect the school and recapture Black, affect Harry in a disturbing way. With the help of his friends, Ron and Hermione, Harry is intent on unraveling the mystery surrounding Sirius Black and his escape from Azkaban.
Story:
Harrys experience at Hogwarts will never be normal. He is always in grave danger. This time he will have to be against the escaped prisoner from Azkaban, Sirius Black, and the Dementors. Azkaban is a prison obviously where the very dangerous criminals go. Harry is trying to experience Hogwarts like a regular student, but is interrupted by the foolishness behavior of the Dementors. Harrys is scared of them. His professor, Professor Lupen helps him with his problem by learning new spells to defend his self. Harry then later finds out Sirius is actually his godfather and wasnt the one who told Voldemort about his family. Then Who was it? It was Rons rat. The rat escapes and they try to kill it, but its too quick. He sees himself later that night at the lake with a bunch of Dementors and he believes he sees his dad. He then goes back in time to see him, but later finds out it was him that not his dad.
Gameplay:
The Harry Potters series is getting progressively better. The game wasnt one of my favorites, but had a lot of parts into it like the mission with Harry playing Quiddich and getting hit by the Dementor. The graphics are a lot better than the first and second games. I give the graphics a 6 out of ten because the graphics are still poor compared to the ones today. It is still great for the time in age.

Spells:
- Alohomora: Unlocks chests and opens secret areas. All PCs can use this.
- Flipendo: Knocks opponents back, triggers switches and stuns some creatures. All PCs can use this.
- Depulso: Upgrade of Flipendo. All PCs can use this.
- Expelliarmus: Repells offensive spells. All PCs can use this.
- Glacius: Freezes water and salamanders, and extinguishes fires. This spell is learned from D.A.D.A. class in the console versions, or Charms class in the PC version. Only Hermione can use this on the consoles, though only Harry can in the PC game version.
- Draconifors: Transforms dragon statues into real dragons that the player may control. This spell is learned from Transfiguration class or on the Fourth Floor After Harry's Expecto Patronum Challenge. Only Hermione can use this spell.
- Lapifors: Transforms rabbit statues into real rabbits. This spell is learned from Transfiguration class. Only Hermione can use this spell in the computer game version.
- Lumos: Emits light from wand, will reveal a collection of bubbles (usually in a wall) that you can walk through. All PCs can use this.
- Lumos Duo: Emits light from a wand, causes Hinkypunks to turn solid, and forces ghouls to retreat. Only Ron can use this spell. Only in the console version.
- Reparo: Fixes broken objects. Only Hermione can use this spell. Only in the Consoles.
- Snufflifors: Hermione can use this spell to turn books into mice. This must be bought from Fred and George's shop. All Consoles can use this.
- Rictusempra: Stuns or destroys certain enemies. All PCs can use this.
- Carpe Retractum: Pulls objects toward the caster, or the caster toward the object. This spell is learned from Charms class in the console versions, or D.A.D.A. class in the PC version. Only Harry can use this spell in the Consoles, although Ron also can in the PC game version.
- Expecto Patronum: Dispels Dementors. Only Harry can use this spell.

This games gets a SEVEN because its is very fun to play, but not really that great. It is still very addictive to finish, but wasnt one of my favorites. Still I think it depicted the movie and book very well.
