How To Host Your Own Call of Duty 4 online Server using Hamachi

1. Install call of duty 4 Modern Warfare 1, (I recommend the skidrow release).

2. Open Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and check your current COD version.

3. If you are having an old version (Below 1.7) you have to update your current version to 1.7

5. After downloading the updates, proceed with the installation.

6. After you have updated, you won't be able to play COD 4 in the Single Player Mode, so you have to replace
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] in the COD4 installation Folder. ( The path where you have installed COD 4 )

Hosting your own Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare 1 Server free Using Hamachi

1. Download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and install the setup.

2. Then Create your Own Network via Hamachi.

3. Download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] file and open it using the notepad, and it will look like this. Remember to change dedicated.CFG to Server.CFG



4. Paste your Hamachi IP infront of /set net_ip with in the inverted commas as show in the picture

indicated with a Blue highlight mark.

5. If you are a programmer, you are free to change the codings, but it is strongly recommended not


8. Launch iw3mpHAMACHI 1.7.

9. Select Start New Server and make sure that the server is not dedicated and Punk Buster should

be Disabled as indicated in the picture with red circles.


6. Now save the file and paste in the COD 4 Directory, after entering your Hamachi IP as shown above.

7. Download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and paste it in your call of Duty 4 Directory.

It is not necessary to download it once again if you already have it.

to make any changes if you are not sure what you are doing.



10. Now Start the Server.


Your friends should download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and paste it in their call of duty installation directories...Tell your friends to launch [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] when they are connecting to your server. Your friends/clients should open the command console and type Connect (your Hamachi IP address without the brackets). Note that : to allow your friends to connect to your server, you should be connected with their HAMACHI Networks. Keep hamachi running while you are playing the game. You should be able to chat with your clients using hamachi...
