Firstly, What is this wonderful world of RuneScape oh so many people talk about?
RuneScape is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in January 2001 by Andrew and Paul Gower, and developed by Jagex Ltd. It is a graphical browser game implemented on the client-side in Java, and incorporates 3D rendering.

So now we know what runescape is all about, what is botting?
Botting is the act of using third-party software to perform automated tasks. A bot operates by automating user input to the game. A simple bot may just move the cursor to a certain position and perform a click, while more advanced ones may interact with the game client directly. The terms macroer, autoer, botter or bot usually refer to players who use such programs. Usage of bots is not allowed under the RuneScape rules and may result in action taken against that player's account, such as a temporary or permanent ban. Moreover, Jagex has the authority and power to reset a player's skill levels as well as their bank value before initiating a ban.

But in October, Runescape decided to make an update, known as the "bot-buster/ClusterFlutterer" That would change the lives of botters for ever, this day was known as "bot nuke"
Hi Everyone,
Last week, Daniel Clough shared more news with the community about our ongoing war to eliminate botting and gold farming from the game. Today, I am really happy to say we are in the long-awaited position of being able to announce that well be launching our most formidable bot-busting weapon in our history, targeting what we believe to be 98% of the bots seen in game.

I anticipate that this update will be a defining triumph in our battle against the bots which youve clearly told us have been harming your game. However, we are not resting on our laurels and will be continuing to develop numerous systems as well as still making a number of improvements over the coming months in an attempt to remain a few steps ahead of both the bot makers and gold farmers alike.

As Daniel made clear last week, we are dedicated to battling bots and gold farming on every front. We have also recently detected and banned over 1.5 million botting and gold farming accounts. While we work behind the scenes on certain projects, we know that sometimes the necessary secrecy can be rather frustrating for players and, as a team, weve all desperately wanted to share details about this upcoming project with the community since the very beginning of the year when we had first believed it was going to be imminently ready. However, sadly sometimes when innovating in multiple uncharted areas it takes a lot longer than expected and we were therefore at necessary pains to keep this project tightly under wraps while completing it and, crucially, not giving bot makers any information or warning that could assist them in working around it or preparing for it.

The project, code-named the ClusterFlutterer, will be launched as part of the RuneScape game update on Tuesday the 25th October permanently preventing reflection bots from working again.

We anticipate that next Tuesday will go down in RuneScape history as 'bot-nuking day'. To celebrate this landmark event, well be running a series of one-off bonus days from Tuesdays system update through to Friday.

But the big question was, would this update really stop bots for ever?
The answer to the above question of course is, NO! The update that was carried out did yes erase all bots but, not forever as we speak more and more working bots are being released, you can never stop botting because people will always find away round it.

What type of bots are there?
You may be wondering which of the clients will make it through the The "bot nuking" day on this coming monday. And here is the simple answer.

What will Jagex be targeting as of monday?
-Reflection based bots
-Injection based bots
-Ghost mouse is pretty easy to track,so no point

Core differences between injection/reflection
Reflection bases commands off of what an object can and cannot do.For example if a bot encounters a door,it compiles all logical ways it can do with the so said object
-Bot walks to door
-bot figures all options possible
-bot reasons list of possible options to be
Open door
Close door
Examine door
Kick door down
lock door
-bot chooses whatever appropriate for the circumstance

Now you might be think"bt arnt boots al suposed 2 b dis way?"
Not by a longshot, injection based is fairly similar to its counterpart, but isnt all programs based off of a original one anyways?

-Almost all Injection based bots are AIOs which the actual term is Asynchronous input output(not to be confused with the hardware term.)
-These type of programs can do ALL commands at the same time, and faster also,so this is more human like of the two.
-they are also not limited to a categorized list of commands, and can think outside the box
-Able to negate any system of anti-bot.

Instead of

POWERBOT:
Powerbot is 100% and I mean completely based on reflection, and will be eliminated ensued

NEXUS:
All none AIO Nexus based scripts will be killed off.

Runedev:
To my knowledge virtually no difference with power bot,and will meet its demise as well.

RSbuddy:
90% injection based and 10% reflection based,RSbuddy is injection based, which will allow it to get around any update in about a week or two.All none AIO scripts will obviously be incompatible with the new update.

Epicbot:
50% injection 50% reflection, you'll probably find them picking up scraps for the next year.

Rsbots:
They will be the only competitor with RSbuddy, but since they dont have as many scripts as RSbuddy, will be weakened by this new update.

Now the last thing,is that even IF Jagex will actually do this,it is a possibility they are bluffing for the most part.

What bots are there at this current stage of time that are working?
At the moment the only working legit bots that i know of are, Simba, EpicBot, Runedream & RareBot.
I Will include A Download Link, Virus Scan & Information About each bot below.
All the rest of the so called "bots" that are going round at the moment are VIRUSES
And for the people that are actually stupid enough to believe the people that advertise these, are just plain stupid.

How to Bot Safely
Ok in this guide I will tell you how to greatly reduce your chance of getting banned on Runescape for macroing. I will attempt to go into every possible aspect of botting in depth. If I do get anything wrong please post a constructive response on how I can improve as this is my first proper guide.

What to wear?
Now I know you hear all the time NEVER bot naked although there are some exceptions to this rule. I agree with never bot naked if you are doing something such as crafting, fletching, Soulwars or other bots that either don't require energy to be done more efficiently or are combat related. However things such as agility and flax running CAN be botted naked as legit players usually do these skills naked to get the most efficiency as clothes slightly decrease your energy loss rate. Although saying this I still suggest you do wear robes as they do make you look a little less suspicious although it is not required.

* Don't wear anything that will attract attention such as RFD items which will get people coming up to you asking where to get it and NEVER wear skillcapes.

*If you know an item is currently rising DON'T wear it as people will ask to buy it from you.

Breaks
Now breaks are a funny one as they can be good and bad dependant on how you use them. The biggest thing I can stress about breaks is MAKE THEM HUMAN LIKE. For example do not use the random break system where it makes you have a 3 minute break every 30 minutes or whatever. Everybody knows that people are addicted to runescape, once you log in you can't log out. So make the breaks look legit such as a 35 minute break every 2-3 Hrs or so. Although do not use breaks when doing things such as soul wars or pest control.

When to bot
Try and bot when you would usually play such as no later than 1AM and don't start until around 12PM or so. Try and imitate your usual playing times e.g if you play usually from around 4-11PM then bot around that time. Unless you want to greatly increase your chance of a ban don't bot through the night.

Names!
Right I have found this works great! Choose a name that no one will like to report such as iiilililiil or something along those lines as nobody will be bothered to report you. You can either do this or choose a very nooby name such as KingJon135. People don't suspect noobs of botting so that always helps!

Human breaks + Talking
These will greatly reduce your chance of a ban. By human breaks I mean occasionally stop your bot and do something yourself such as castle wars or go to the grand exchange and have a conversation with somebody. This will throw the bot detection system off your account. Now for talking some bots have a built in talking system in which it replies with smiley faces to people who talk, these are awesome although what is even better is if you talk while botting. If you don't click off the bot client after starting it you can still talk on your char while botting. This throws the bot detection system off massively and no one will suspect you so if you do this you are massively lowering the risk.

What bots to use:
Now you may be swayed to use the free bots which are out there for the obvious reason they are free but unless you want a greatly increased chance of a ban don't use them. There are websites that we all know of such as rsbots.net and codespace.net which sell authorization codes for bots. Although the bots maybe expensive they are worth it in the long run. These bots are highly sophisticated and will usually slip past Jagex's radar.

Tips:
Look like a noob e.g Wear a rune dagger if you can wear dragon.
Don't bot for too long!

Thanks for reading! And good luck!
