How to Host Good Infected Lobbies






Whats Infected
---

The game mode infected can be found in the " Alternate Game Modes" when in a private match pregame lobby. This is basically a Zombie base game mode that is very popular. The object of the game is to not die by the killer or Zombie. At the beginning of each match, the game counts down from five and picks the first player to be infected. This is totally on a random scale, so no one knows if the will be it or not. When the infected kills a survivor, they will become infected as well. This goes on until the game ends. Maps will take a big affect on how fast the game goes as well. So be careful for what you wish for.





Editing Game Options

When you play "Infected" you want to edit the classes and other things so it can be interesting and more fun. Once you click on "Infected" you want to go to options and a screen should pop up with the Scores and Health, Etc. You can change all of this to your liking. When you want to change class, go down to Default classes. This should be located on the right of the screen, down towards the bottom. Click on this and classes should pop up. This is where the magic happens. You can change anything you want to. When you are done with this you can just press the "B" button back and your are set. You can change these classes for both infected and humans. Also, these classes can be changed once your current game has ended and your in the pregame lobby.

How to make the "Infected" have no ammo/ What they Have

The infected will have two class spaces you will want to edit. The "Initial" and the "Default" Do not edit any primary or secondary guns for these to have no ammo. You can edit the perks and everything else, except the Guns. The "Initial" infected is when you get randomly picked at the beginning of the match. These players can have a special class until they infect someone else. For example, I will give the Initial class a rocket launcher to prevent early campers. When he kills someone or some people, they go back to the default class. This is the no ammo gun without anything accept perks. You do not have to do the rocket or gun at the beginning as it is just a sample. You can just leave them both have no ammo with perks.

New Online Infected Lobbies ( Feb 5th)

Infinity Ward had brought infected lobbies online to the community playlist. Now people can enjou ranking up and using specific guns the modes give you to rank up with. This does count as your K.D and wins loss ratio so play smart. You can play with your friends as well and there are 18 people max in the lobby just like private match infected lobbies. Here are the things you choose from when you get in the lobby.

Game Modes

Knife vs Magnum (Zombies only have Tactical Insertions)
Striker vs. Jug ( Zombies have Jug Intial infected Strker Default)
Jug vs. Mk46 ( Zombies have Jug with Tactical Insertion)
Knife vs. Strker (Zombies have Throwing Knife and Tactical Insertion)
