Game Information
Release Date: July 14, 2009
Developed By: EA Tiburon, EA Sports
Genre: Sports
Platform: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable
Rating: E

Synopsis:

NCAA Football 10 is yet another creation by EA, all of 2009s roosters and lineups. The cover of the game depended on the console as Brian Johnson, Brian Orakpo, Mark Sanchez, and Michael Crabtree all appeared on the cover for the different consoles. The game features the typical game modes such as Road to Glory, where you create your own player and play with him throughout his college career, Mascot games, where you play as the teams mascot, and many others. There were many improvements, including Team Builder and Season Showdown. Team creating is nothing new to EA games, but the new mode was much easier than before. Also this was one on the computer rather than the console. Season Showdown allows players to keep track of stats better. All of the points that someone would earn from playing the game and earning tackles or touchdowns and what not. However some features of the game where not improved on such as the graphics. The game looked like NCAA Football 2009. That being said, it was better graphics wise than other sports games of its time.

Multiplayer:

The multiplayer is very similar to the previous NCAA Football, which is not all bad, however some differences other than the rosters would have been nice. An addition was the Online Dynasty, which is the same as the Offline Dynasty, however the games are obviously played against real opponents. The servers could have provided a better connection, however there was no complaint in lag or speed.

Graphics Rating:

For the time the game was made, the graphics were incredible. The game was far ahead of its competitors at the time. I would give the graphics a 7.5/10

Multiplayer Rating:

The games multiplayer was well planned and excellently designed and carried out. The multiplayer was entertaining and the best online sports games I have ever played. I give the multiplayer an 8/10

Overall Rating:

The game was a great and well designed game whose graphics were far ahead of its competitors. The game kept players interested for hours and kept players happy for long periods of time. I give the game an 8/10

Recommendation:

I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a cheaper college football game. It was well worth the money and is very entertaining.
