Hello everyone, thank you for coming to my mega minecraft modifications thread! In this thread I will post helpful tutorials on mods in the game, post world saves for you to download yourself, and help you with your minecraft problems! This post will be updated every day or every other day. I will be added texture packs every day also! So check back daily for new mods and texture packs . I will also post descriptions of teh mods and what they do in the section of the mod. And you will need modloader on almost all if not all of these mods.

CHANGE LOG (You don't need to read I'm doing this for my personal benefit of knowing i updated whats what.

7/30 added more texture packs and added fairy mod.
7/31 added a new wasteland mod very nice similar to survival island just single player and mp.

Fixed more textures and skins they had messed up names and looks. So that is fixed.
Aether mod had a invalid tutorial and new textures, skins and mods added
Aether mod updated new version now.

I will start with my personal favorite mod, the Aether mod.

DESCRIPTION OF
THE AETHER MOD

As most of you minecraft players know, if you place a portal down and stand in it for a few seconds you will be taken to a different realm called the nether. Nether is basically hell in minecraft, there are mobs that are out to kill you, and lava everywhere. The Nether is a very scary realm. But the Aether mod is the exact opposite of the Nether. It is bright, peaceful, and a very nice look of all the new elements added to the world. There are many new features added to the Aether world. Many, many new blocks found around the world. New mobs added, new items found around the game, and they are very very helpful in the main world and other parts. A new element added in the Aether is that there are dungeons, but not any ordinary dungeons, these have bosses in them. Defeat the bosses, a treasure chest will appear and you open them with a key to earn your treasure for defeating the boss, these items vary from Swords, pick axes, new features in the game and more.

How To Install Aether Mod FIRST THING I WANT TO SAY IS BACK UP YOUR .MINECRAFT FOLDER, I HOLD NO RESPONSIBILITY TO WHAT HAPPENS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

First download these 4 items needed for installation if you dont already have them.

HOW TO MAKE A AETHER PORTAL This is very quick guys so once your aether is installed you will need 16 glowstones and a bucket of water. Make the glowstone 4 bottom 4top and 4 right 4 left. Pour your water on the glowstone and walk into your portal. And dont use force update.

HOW TO GET A NEW MINECRAFT CHARACTER SKIN WITH OUT PREMIUM! Tired of that bland minecraft character you always see? Yes? then you have come to the right place my friend! I will show you a quick and easy way to change the look of your character.

Use the search bar to find a specific skin. I like the super heros so bat man is a good one but they have others such as creeper, zombie, robot. Things of that nature.

But once you find a skin download it and extract it to your desktop. Rename it to char.png if it isnt already that. Now open up your .minecraft folder and then open up the bin folder, then minecraft.jar.

Once that is open scroll down in your minecraft.jar until you see a folder named "mob" open it up and delete that first one name "char.png" then just drag and drop your selected skin into that folder and there you go! now you into your game and enjoy your new look! Make sure force update is off or it will reset

This will work with your premium account also but i dont think you need to use the jar in your folder.

HOW TO GET SINGLE PLAYER COMMANDS IN MINECRAFT SINGLE PLAYER!

Back up you bin just incase you mess up.

Open up the rar i just linked, you will see many .class files a read me.txt and a .jar file.

first off delete the read me.

Then take the .class files and put them into your minecraft.jar

Once finished with that, take the world edit.jar and put it in your bin folder! it should be under the minecraft.jar.

Test out the mods by going into Single player and a gray text should pop up. You did it correct

SINGLE PLAYER COMMANDS

if you installed the spc mods then you are probably wondering some of the commands you can use with this mod.

I am only going to put the good ones/helpful ones for now, but might add all of them later if i get a good response from this post.

Well here are the good ones i use.

health infinite (infinite health lol)
time day (day time)
time night (night time)
fly (fly like noclip)
fly (turns off fly)
fly (add a number after to change your fly speed IE fly 5)
itemdamage (items will not earn damage)
clear (clears the previous added commands)
falldamage (no fall damage)
home (teleports you back to your spawn point very helpful after you return from the aether)
// (1 hit destroys any rock/ground part)
keepitems (keep items after death)
ride (lets you ride npcs very funny when riding a creeper or zombie)
thats all i will name for now give feedback for more commands

So lets get started,
go to "start" and type %appdata% and open up .minecraft

open up the bin folder inside the .minecraft and you will see a .jar file named minecraft open that by right clicking and open with winrar or 7zip whichever one.

If you have a meta-inf folder DELETE IT if not then you are fine.

just open up the tmi.rar and drag and drop all of those.class files into your minecraft.jar

there you go, now go test to see if it works you will know if it works by pressing E when spawned in your world.

HOW TO GET POKEBALLS IN MINECRAFT!

This is a fun little mod, not much of a useful one, more of a cool one that looks pretty nice lol

A very quick installation for this one.

Just open up your minecraft.jar

put "pokeball.png into your minecraft.jar just drag and drop

then do the same for the .class files then you have pokeballs installed YAY! with pokeballs you throw them at npcs and when you hit one it will be in a poke ball pick up the pokeball and hes yours to keep

So... 3 red stone 2 coal 1 button and 3 iron. there you go!

LIGHT SABER IN MINECRAFT!!! SUPER POWERFUL

This is a mod that you will get the lightsaber if you have the TMI modification installed. Or it can spawn a darth vader and if you kill him you get his saber!

First download this .zip file with the things you need in it.

open the folder and you will see 2 folder mods and resources

open up you .minecraft folder and if you have mod loader installed which you should open up that folder and place the .rar that is in the mods folder in the darth vader download.

Then go to resources in your .minecraft and place all of those files in your resources that are in the darth vader into there.

Run minecraft to see if all the mods worked, if they did and you have the TMI modification installed press E and on the last page you should see a lightsaber, if not you did it wrong.

PORTAL GUNS IN MINECRAFT!

Thats right, the orange and blue portal guns now in minecraft! These portals will work similar to the ones in the Portal game, but not exactly the same.

Download the mod first of all

Open it up

open up your .minecraft folder also.

Go to the folder in your .minecraft folder that says "mods" open it and place the part that says place in mods to that folder,

Now go into your recources folder, open up that and open the folder inside it named mod and place the 2 files inside the rar.

You are now done with that portal mod go test it out and if you have TMI the guns are already in that, enjoy.
