i know they do mad damage, but when you compare it to a one pump, 1 shot vs 22 damage per shot. I think is extremely bad example to compare with damage when weapons significantly different damage.

Yeah shotguns are the best weapons by far, you can easily win a game only using shotguns because of double pump and that but then they only do damage close up where as pretty much all other weapons can be used over range so you just gotta be careful when you get into gun fights

I used to blame the game a lot too, thought it was unfair but now I win 1/4 games I play. I was really really bad at shotgun fights as I would panic, after around 4 months of playing my aim has massively improved. Find out how you are dying and improve on it.

AR shots arent really the players fault because of the RNG involved with bloom.

RNG is involved but your not gonna get any shots in if you cant aim on the person. Just because RNG is involved doesn't mean you don't have to have good AR aim.

Yeah to an extent, of course if you were never aiming on them in the first place your screwed but there are times when you have to single tap becsuse it goes everywhere.

It's not about if I'm good or not at the game, I put my hands up! I'm not very good, my building is crap and my aim can sometimes be atrocious, if somebody out plays me, then fair enough well done. But this is about the games were e.g I hit opponent twice and do 50 damage and they hit me seemily twice and kill me with 100 health.
After over 50 games recorded, paused and analysed, I noticed the shot before I died was often the abnormally e.g 100 health, 1 st shot would take me down to 70 and then next shot I would be dead. Where I was seeing one shot, I was actually taking 1 or 2 more shots.
Also other little things that I have seen support this theory. Stuttering free fall! Empty chests, three walls at once being built etc I could go on.
I have made my peace with the game, I usually just play squads now and try not to take it too seriously, still in get annoyed when I see evidence of the lag, but at least I know why now.
P.s it wasn't the game I was putting down, it's my Internet connection that is too blame. I actually think fortnite is one of the best games ever made.
