Hey TTG. Thought I come here before I take another route to fixing the issue.

Specs -
Intel i5 7400k
GeForce 1060 3gb
8gb Ram

Overall issue of what is happening - I Mainly bought my Desktop to Play Modded Minecraft, Fortnite & Rainbow Six Seige. Fortnite & Seige plays perfect and no complaints but for Modded Minecraft it's a Different Story.

Issue - When playing most mod packs on Twitch Launcher I find my Desktop Restarting completely with no error after anywhere from 5-45mins of playing single player. As I said I play a wide range of mod packs.

Drivers All Up to date!
Java on Right Update!
Not a Heating Issue
Not sure if it has todo with Power problem.
Most current mod packs use 7-8gb of ram when I only have 3-5gb allocated.

So is this a faulty Ram Stick?
Just need to buy more Ram?
Possibly Power Supply Problem?

P.S it's a rare accusation but sometimes I do get a Windows 10 blue screen saying Memory Management or Kernal blah.

Even before I read your whole issue, my head was thinking this is a RAM issue.

With the details you've given, my thoughts are that you're using too much VRAM on your GPU so it's putting the textures into your RAM. When gaming normally, you might not be using all of your RAM, but on MC, it's actually putting your RAM under some pressure.

Now, I would check to make sure you don't have any overclocks going on on your RAM. If you do, remove them and see where that leaves you.

Else, I'd send back your ram to your manufacture. It should have lifetime warranty so there shouldn't be any issues sending it back.

Thank you. I do not have any overlock as I bought this PC from CyberPowerPC. I had thought it was ram too and have contacted Them to get an rma for replacement. Thanks again

Strange if it's only doing this within Minecraft. You haven't set a crazy page file in within computer management have you?

I would check eventviewer and see the events created when your PC crashes. Does it bluescreen? Start with the basics first like uninstalling mod packs and retesting.

The one component you have not listed is your PSU. Power supplies have safety measures that includes a full restart when it can not handle what is being thrown at it. I know that we're talking Minecraft, but what is your PSU?
