Anyone else do this and what sort of ways do you go about increasing your follower base? Id rather have active, interested followers rather than those that just follow for a follow type of thing. Any ideas here?

For info, here is the page:

The best way to increase a dedicated amount of followers, subscribers, viewers etc is to have multiple sources of social media. The more you are out there, the more ways people will know of you. It takes time. It also takes good content that people want.

When you post a video on YouTube be sure to let your followers know of your other social media accounts. Don't just tell them to follow you or check you out. Give them a reason to click on your twitter link, or Twitch etc.

There are loads of tips and actual professional social media marketers that can help you online. They will only offer a limited amount of help for free though. This is how they get their money and dedicated audience.

No. Facebook ads promote Facebook views but not YouTube views. It's over priced and not worth it. When I ran a $30 ad I got maybe 30 views total off it but Facebook told me the link had over a couple thousand clicks.

Paying $30 is not going to benefit you. In order to see results from buying ads you need to pay a lot more. I do not think he is referring to paying for ads in his question. However, having multiple sources of social media is beneficial.

Absolutely, and types of social media will boost your views and subscribes to your channel. You will notice on all the big youtubers that they are basically on every social media platform, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat etc.

I would think that it depends on the content you produce and what sort of following you have on other social media platforms as to whether it is worth using them to promote another channel of yours. In the case of Facebook, it wouldn't be worth paying for ads, I think that you would need to build up the Facebook page a bit and link it on your YouTube and Twitch so that you can get the subscribers and followers to check out the Facebook and hopefully pass it on to their friends. Be sure to make use of forums that cater towards the content you produce, so gaming-related forums not just TTG would prove to be beneficial towards increasing your outreach towards new potential followers.
