This post is in regards to CoD modding on both Xbox and Ps3 .
I remember back in 2011 when the whole Xbox 360 CoD 4 R2R menu thing was a huge deal. All the people with no JTAG got excited because they could host there own mod menu lobby. At this time no one could get there JTAG online and Mw2 challenge lobbies were unheard of.
But the Ps3 was a different story. You could just hop on bypass and find a Mw2 challenge lobby within minutes.
I don't know, but it's just not the same anymore. I have had more than one JTAG and RGH and numerous jailbroken Ps3's. Back in the day I had my JTAG online and was one of the few people who hosted legit challenge lobbies on the 360. I remember I would go to a private match and the lobby would be full in seconds.
Who else agrees modding isn't the same and has been around long enough to know what I am talking about?

Of course it isn't the same anymore, it has developed a lot and moved on from those times. I loved those times haha, sitting in a lobby waiting for someone to pay. R2R menus use to be my life on cod4 and waw haha.
But modding will never be the same, not as much demand and who doesn't have an RGH these days haha

For Xbox modding, It hasn't been the same for almost a year now due to the lack of people wanting to be in modded lobbies and most players going over to next gen. A few BC games on xbox one such as black ops/2 made modding something again and lots of people wanted to be in such lobbies.
It's just getting old now, nothing is changing there aren't new games to mod and like i said most have gone over to next gen leaving xbox and modding behind. It has died down massively the last few months it isnt even worth hosting lobbies due to the lack of people that want them.
Xbox modding was great until maybe around 2015 it died a lot and its slowly been dying since, it will only be thriving again if Xbox One is exploited in a way people can host modded lobbies online etc
I have done modded lobbies/been modding since around 2009/10 and have loved it for a long time, i even came back to modding at the start of the year and it wasn't that popular until the xbox bc games. As said above, everyone pretty much has a modded console these days which has turned games annoying when they are full of people using aimbot etc
Hopefully xbox one is modded just like 360 was
With regards to this, I also believe this is why modding has died A LOT due to many 13-15 year olds owning RGH's, deranking and booting people offline for stupid reasons. Myself have come across other modders who attempt to sabotage my services and boot me to disrupt me

Those were the best days to be on, and it's sad that modding won't be the same or as fun. Back then it was addictive and i would try to find lobbies all the time!

As much as you lot think modding has died, I know a solution. Can one of you take me back to the R2R cod 4 mod menu infection because I'm bored as hell and actually enjoy that game. Gamertag : Fecb
