No need to have doubts just because a different game development team takes over.
Bungie didn't just throw away the series to some company, they trusted 343i.

Borderlands 2 was WAY better than that ****.
I played that game on PC and really enjoyed it, many other games look amazing
but the younger generation will never discover them (Minecraft aside, everyone loves Minecraft).

I liked Farcry 3 the best probably because little kids aren't all over it.(ex. Bo2/Halo 4)

This poll is very inaccurate, look at all the Spike's Video Game Awards for example. GOTY went to The Walking Dead, best Xbox Game went to Halo 4, and Best PS3 game went to Journey. Where is CoD? These were voted for, by people that actually know what a good game is. When I see Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 winning, I will commit a slow and painful suicide, considering all the voters are 12 and younger, and if your not then your a young adult who has the same intelligence level of a 5 year old.
