HOW TO PLAY MINECRAFT WITH A XBOX360 CONTROLLER OR ANY PC GAME!!!

First off this is a informational post

[Things required]
1:A usb xbox360 controller also known as a wired controller.
2:computer with usb slot [open]
3:and a program that can configure keys for controllers._____[Also fount bellow]

[Steps]
1:Plug in controller and make sure that the software for controller installs.
[How to find out]Right click on my computer and go to properties click on device manager then look for something called microsoft common controller for windows and click on it and if the software is installed then it won't say that it is a unknown device. if software is not installed then go down to help fount bellow.
2:Download a program witch lets you set keys for controllers. here is the one i use: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
3:extract and open wherever you want.
4:run joytokey app
5:once open hit create and name it minecraft or whatever you want
6:Now go to control panel and go to Hardware and sound then devices and printers.
7:find your controller there then right click it and click game controller settings then properties.
8:now go back to joytokey once there click the tab others and check mark (use axes other than x and y) and also (use pov switches)then go back to tab joystick and it should look different.
9:now here is how to set your keyboard keys and mouse keys to your controller. [READ Axis4-5 carefully]
AxisX(<0)_____is your left joy stick on controller pushed (left)
AxisX(>0)_____is your left joy stick on controller pushed (right)
AxisY(<0)_____is your left joy stick on controller pushed (up)
AxisY(>0)_____is your left joy stick on controller pushed (down)
Axis3(<0)_____is your (Right) trigger on controller. (not bumpers)
Axis3(>0)_____is your (Left) trigger on controller. (not bumpers)
Axis4(<0)_____is your right joy stick on controller pushed (left) [when setting key go to mouse and you should see cursor movements set the horizontal one to anywhere between (-40)-(-50)]
Axis4(>0)_____is your right joy stick on controller pushed (right) [same as above but in (+40)-(+50)
Axis5(<0)_____is your right joy stick on controller pushed (up) [when setting key go to mouse and you should see cursor movements set the vertical one to anywhere between (-40)-(-50)]
Axis5(>0)_____is your right joy stick on controller pushed (down) [same as above but in (+40)-(+50)
[Now scroll down a little and look for (POV1:UP) ]
POV1:UP_______is your Dpad (up)
POV1:RI_______is your Dpad (right)
POV1:DO_______is your Dpad (down)
POV1:LE_______is your Dpad (left)
[Now scroll down some more and look for (Button 1-32) ]
[Now pull up your controller properties which should show a bunch of buttons saying 1-10 plus some other stuff now hit one of the buttons that you have not yet set such as A,B,X,Y
and 1-10 in the properties will light up that tells you what number that button you pushed
is. now go over to joytokey then set those buttons to what you want on your keboard.
10:Start up minecraft and have fun using your xbox360 controller.

Q:My controller software is not installing for me.
A:If you cant for some reason get your xbox360 controller software to install on your pc. then you need to download the software manually and set it up download the software here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] _____(Make sure to get the right op)
after you install it right click on my computer and go to properties then click display adapters and go to your xbox360 controller in there and right click on it and select update driver software when asked for how to search for updates click 'browse my computer for driver software' when the next window pops up select 'let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer' then scroll down and double click on 'Microsoft Common Controller For Windows Class' then select 'XBOX 360 Controller For Windows Version: 6.1.7600.16385 [6/21/2006]' from the list and click next then click yes when the update driver warning appears.
congratulations your driver software for you xbox360 controller is now installed. Banzai!!!

NOTE: this way of playing with a xbox360 wired controller is usable with almost any game you just have to setup the controls for the game .
