The punishment worked in my opinion and it really sucks knowing that there is a way but that I don't know it.

Calling people ignorant is going to help you,we "ignorant people" have spent lots of time and effort into these mods and have no intentions of releasing. I gurentee you if you figured it out and realized how patchable this is you wont want to release.

I figured out how to mod L4D a long time ago......I also remember it got me banned,valve even emailed me -_- im sure you remember,i was on your friends list......my point is,it would be better 4 the communitys sake if you didnt release + people would complete f*** versus mode with the mods.
