How to update from XBR to Freeboot...

Requirements:
- A Xbox 360 has the JTAG Exploit Enabled
- Original NAND Dump
- Flash360
- FreeBOOT ToolBox Maker
- CPU Key
- XexMenu or XeXLoader.

Required Downloads:
- FreeBOOT ToolBox Maker
- Flash360

Process (on the computer):
1) Open up FreeBOOT ToolBox Maker 2.4 and type in your CPU Key (which can be obtained with XeLL).

2) Select the DashLaunch Patch you want, NAND as None, USB as from your USB Stick, and HDD as in your XBox Hard Drive.

DashLaunch allows you to boot your Xbox 360 directly into homebrew when the Xbox 360 boots up.

3) Select your motherboard type, if your Xbox 360 contains a 16MB NAND then check 'Auto detect motherboard'.

4) In the destination directory, check Dump Directory and under Filename Destination select updflash.bin.

5) Click 'Generate freeBOOT'. Now select your original NAND Dump and let it generate your freeBOOT image.

6) Extract Flash360 onto the root of a clear USB Drive formatted as Fat32.

7) Locate to the same directory as your original NAND Dump and copy updflash.bin and put it into the main USB directory.

Process (on the XBox 360):
1) Start up your XBox 360 and let it boot to the NXE Dashboard.

2) Launch XeXLoader or XeXMenu and then launch Flash360 on your USB stick.

3) Now select 'Button A = Write updflash.bin to Nand'.

4) Now select 'Button B = Raw flash without keeping current kv/config'

5) If you are warned about a ZeroPaired NAND, just hit the 'Start' button and ignore it.

6) Confirm the operation and write updflash.bin to the NAND.

7) Once the operation is complete, press A.

8) Now press the Back Button.

9) And press the Back Button again and leave the Xbox 360 count down to shutoff.

10) Once the Xbox 360 has fully shutdown, uplug the XBox 360 Power supply from the back of the console and wait for about 1-2 minutes.

11) You may boot up your console again and enjoy freeBOOT!
