1. You will need 10-14 pieces of obsidion (made by pouring water on still lava)
2. Make a tower 5 blocks high out of obsidion
3. Jump off the tower and make another tower exactly like the other one but 3 blocks over
4. Then connect the two towers at the very top and bottom block (once you connect the two towers you can delete the tallest and lowest block of obsidion on each tower)
5. Get flint and steel (made by iron and flint)
6. Lite the bottom of the nether portal where the two towers connect with it
You know you did it right when it lights up purple

upd8 This is how you make a Portal yes, but everyone knows this. I don't think if somebody didn't know it, they would look on TTG either, they would look on youtube.
Yes they would most likely look on Youtube but some people don't know so I decided to make a tut on it. I know when I first got Minecraft I had no idea how to make one and I really wanted to make one to get the achievement. So I bet there are some people who don't know this.
