Tools you will need:

-TinyUmbrella ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
-iPod/iPhone/iPad
- Firmware for your iDevice ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

[b]Method:[/b]

First, you need to visit the site given above, and find the tab where it says "download links". Find the download that is most suitable for your computer and download it and save it onto your desktop.

Now, go onto the other website (Felixbruns) and click "Ipod Firmware". This will bring you to a page where you can select your desired firmware for your device.

Then, start the application you downloaded before and wait for it to load. Then, plug your device in and click on the tab that says what you named you device.

Then click the button that says "Start TSS Server". If any existing iTunes windows were open, they would have been closed. Re-open iTunes and click the tab of the name of your iDevice. Hold Shift for PC, or CTRL or CMD for Mac. Find the firmware that you downloaded onto your desktop and click open.

iTunes will now restore your device to the firmware you picked!

Once finished disconnect the "TSS Server" and iTunes should walkthrough the rest!
