1. You need a pc headset with both a chat cable and stereo cable.

2. You need to get one of these amazon.com/RCA-Female-3-5mm-Mono...amp;sr=1-1 you need to plug both rca audio plugs coming out of you xbox 360/ps3 into the side with two holes and your headset stereo jack into the other side.

3. (skip if you have ps3) If you have an xbox 360 you need to get one of these amazon.com/Universal-Male-Female...amp;sr=1-3 and all you do is plug the chat cable into this and then the adapter into the controller and your done.

4 If you have a ps3 you need to get one of these amazon.com/External-Adapter-Desk...amp;sr=1-3 plug the chat cable into the side thats for chat. Then go to your settings and change audio input to "usb device" and make sure audio out put is to the rca cables.
