Things you will need;
Usb flash drive (1GB or more)
A Windows computer
Your SMC hacked console (commonly called JTAG)
360 Flash Tool
xeBuild GUI
Flash 360

Part 1, Loading up Flash 360;
Download Flash 360 and copy all the files on to your USB drive.
Insert your USB drive into your XBOX and run XEXMenu.
Navigate to your USB drive by pressing RB and then use the dpad to pick USB0 (may be different if you have more than one USB drive inserted)
Launch Flash360.xex

Part 2, Dumping your current nand
You will now have a blue screen with some writing in the bottom left
press the X button, then press the A button
You are now dumping your current nand, do not press anything while Flash360 is dumping the nand
Once done, press any button to continue, then turn off and remove your USB drive and reconnect it to your computer

Part 3, Find your CPU key
Turn your console on using the eject button and wait for Xell to full load, at the bottom of the screen you will see your CPU key. Write this down as you will need it later.

part 4, Creating your 14699 image
Start by opening up xeBuild GUI and you will be presented with a screen that looks like this.

I will now talk you through the settings,

Type of Image, this will be Freeboot, so select Freeboot

Xell, this is up to you, select either Xellous or Xell-Reloaded. I suggest Xell-Reloaded but you can use Xellous if you would like to.

Motherboard, Select what motherboard you console has.

SMC Hack, this is the most important step, if you get this wrong your console will NOT boot and you will have to manually flash the nand. SMC is the type of wiring used in your console, if you don't know contact your JTAG seller and ask them what was used, there is a alternative but it is not always 100% accurate. You can find the alternative at the bottom of this tutorial.

Once you know your SMC select the correct one.

Special Patches, Disable NAND MU will disable the on-board memory unit, this is only available on Jaspers.

Dashlaunch Settings, For this tutorial we will deselect Include Dashlaunch and Custom Settings.

CPUKey, you must insert your CPUKey in this box, make sure it is 100% correct.

Source: Select open and navigate to your Flashdmp.bin

Output: Select save and navigate to your desktop and name the file updflash.bin

Once you have everything setup, the application should look something along the lines of this.

Now select Generate hacked NAND image, and wait until it says Do you want to close the program, select yes.

Part 5, Verify The Image.

To do this open up 360 Flash tool
Select Settings then Keys, in the CPU-Key box insert your CPU Key.

The program will now restart, once it has click the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] button under Open File and select your updflash.bin we just created.

Veryify in the bottom right it says XBR/FreeBOOT <motherboard>
Check you KV info is correct and does not say Bad KV, and the 6BL and 7BL Patch 1 say 14699

NOTE: big block consoles will show this area as blank.

If everything checks out, copy your updflash.bin to your USB drive and move to the next step.

Part 6, Writing the freeboot image
Power on your JTAG and then reconnect your usb drive and run XEXMenu
Navigate to your USB drive by pressing RB and then use the dpad to pick USB0 (may be different if you have more than one USB drive inserted)
Launch Flash360.xex
Now this time press A
Then press B
Press Start (dont worry about the error, this is normal)
Press Start again
Then press A, once again do not press anything while the nand is being written to
Once complete Press any key to continue
Now press the back button twice, your console will then shutdown
You have successfully just written your freeboot image to your console, just one more stage to go.

____________________________________________________

Part 7, Power cycling
Once your console is off remove your USB drive and ALL cables for 30 seconds
After 30 seconds, reconnect all your cables to your JTAG and power on
If you did everything correctly you will be booted into Dashboard version 13599

How to get your avatars and kinect working.

To get your avatars and kinect working you must install the official 14699 update to do this download the update below and extract the archive to the root of your usb drive and plug it into your console, your console will then ask you to update, select yes but only do it once you have updated your dash version to 14699. Your console will then install all the required files for kinect and avatars.

Alternative to finding your SMC,

You can find out your SMC using xeBuild however it may not be 100% accurate.
To find out open xeBuild and in the Source box open your flashdmp.bin file once done select Check SMC hack/Motherboard and you will have the following box open.

In the Suggested SMC box, this is your SMC.
