I'm showing this tutorial because for some modding tutorials you may have to disable UAC.

UAC stands for - User Account Control

UAC may stand in the way of certain mod tools and what not. Please note, UAC does make your computer more secure, so only disable this if downloading and using a secure and verified mod tool.

To do this, first go to the start up menu. Then, at the lower right of the startup menu, go to control panel. This window should appear;

Now, go to User accounts and family safety. Go to add or remove user accounts.

Clicking on this you should see your accounts on the computer. At the lower part of the window, click on 'Go to main user account page.' Now you should see a list of options. Go to 'Change User account settings.'

Now you should see a new window pop up. Drag the icon all the way to the bottom.

Drag it to the bottom, and you are done. Your computer may need to restart, so take precaution to that as well.
