Script To Split Large PS3 Files On MacOS And Linux
The console scenes seem to have an abundance of app's made for Windows PC users, the apps for Mac and Linux users is quite sparse and it is awesome when someone releases something for those platforms.
Developer nabilfreeman created a script for his Mac to enable him to split large PS3 game files, here is a quote from the source:
Hey all, I never managed to get my 1TB external HDD working with NTFS, so I went with FAT32 instead.
Copying games from my computer to the PS3 has been a real nightmare though, FTP is so slow and most games have 4GB+ files.
There's a useful Windows tool called PS3Splitter which automates everything. I wanted the same functionality on my Mac.
