Bad Company's respawn system in the story mode is very forgiving when attempting a HARD playthrough. However, on this particular level, the tough bit is where you have to destroy 2 bridges before US tanks reach them. The problem is enemy tanks are camping at the bridge so if you plan on using c4 (the same c4 they provide you with at the start of the checkpoint as soon as you go downhill), don't.
Make sure you have an RPG with at least 2 shots in it. Take out each bridge from a safe distance, away from the camping tanks. This is a nightmare if you don't use rockets from a distance. Just don't use C4 just because they give you some at the start of the checkpoint.
