Disable Controller Vibration
Go to the settings icon on the PS4 homescreen
Scroll down to the "Devices" bar and click X
Scroll down to the "Controllers" bar and click X
Scroll down to "Enable Vibration" and uncheck it by clicking X
Turn Down the Controller Volume
Go to the settings icon on the PS4 homescreen
Scroll down to the "Devices" bar and click X
Scroll down to the "Controllers" bar and click X
Change "Controller Volume" to however loud you want it (The lower, the better)
Dim the Controller Lightbar (Add up to 1 hour of battery life!)
Go to the settings icon on the PS4 homescreen
Scroll down to the "Devices" bar and click X
Scroll down to the "Controllers" bar and click X
Change "Brightness of DS4" to however dim you want it, and you will notice a huge difference.
Turn off your controller when not in use
Pretty simple thing to do, but why not add a tutorial
When not using your controller (in a pregame lobby, afk, etc.), hold the PS button
Scroll down to "Adjust Devices" option
Scroll down to "Turn off Device" option
Choose Dualshock 4
Reconnect your controller whenever you are playing again.
