Trophy description - Complete a level on Master difficulty without using bombs, overdrive or boost with a custom ship

Trophy - Silver

This trophy can be very difficult, if you attempt it solo instead of in co-op but is still very do-able. You don't need to have stats set to zero for this trophy, but because you cannot use Boost or Overdrive if you are the person aiming to get the trophy the only useful one is Agility, which should be put to maximum. This can be earned much in the same manner as NAVDML with a second player. Again, the second player must be using a custom ship for the trophy to unlock.

Solo Method

- Use the Nemesis weapon. The weapon coverage makes up for the loss in damage.
- Grab the first human, and then keep him with you for as long as possible - I recommend saving him about 3 quarters of the way through the 2nd Phase. At the end of the 2nd Phase, you'll be flanked by about 6 rows of enemies on either side, and I've never gotten out of that alive. If you manage to survive this far without dying (which isn't too difficult), you can then use the human to get a shield for an easy escape.
- As previously mentioned, grab the 10th and final human for the life. There's usually a fair few enemies about when the seekers arrive so I recommend staying near the 10th survivor's prison in 3rd Phase, thus you can grab him as soon as he's free.
- For the boss, simply keep your distance until he's opened up, now move in and never move out then it's merely a matter of following the nucleus around in circles until he's dead.



Co-op Method

Have your second player set their ship stats to whatever is their preference, as they will be working to finish the level and keep the first player alive. The second player is able to use any bombs, overdrive, or boost that they have. The trophy will still unlock for the first player providing they don't use anything. I found this trophy slightly easier to do if both players stay closer to each other than when doing NAVDML, because the level is slightly less hectic it allows the second player to help the first out more. Good communication is also helpful, as you can get the second player to use a bomb if you feel like you are in a jam. Remember that on Master difficulty destroying enemies causes them to launch a shot directly at you, so make sure to not just stand still while destroying enemies. The second player should save an overdrive for the second phase of the boss where you have to destroy it's core, as this can quickly cut through the walls blocking it. Once one player earns the trophy, simply switch ship stats to your liking and have the other player switch to max agility and play through again to earn the trophy for both people.
