Bethesda Softworks had originally planned to launch the beta for Fallout 4‘s mods on the PlayStation 4 this month, that too despite performance issues that arose early. However, the developer has since announced that the beta has been delayed and no reason has been provided for the same. The PS4’s pace of sales is frankly insane, and mostly unprecedented- the Wii was selling faster, but the Wii also ran out of steam very quickly, and its rate of sales could not be sustained. It appears as though, much like how Microsoft announced the slimmer, smaller Xbox One S in addition to the upgraded Xbox One Scorpio, Sony too will be announcing a PS4 Slim in addition to the PS4 Neo.
