Activision - Infinite Warfare Preorder Figures Are “Highly Inaccurate”

4.5
Activision has come on record to state that early preorder figures for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare were “highly inaccurate and…not at all representative.”

Early preorder data for Call of Duty Infinite Wafare appeared to a show surprisingly low number of preorders, quite a ways down from the figures for earlier titles like Advanced Warfare and Black Ops III. As of May 14th, Infinite Warfare had hit around 60,000 preorders on console, a fraction of the over 700,000 console preorders for Black Ops III on the same day last year.

This figure did seem suspect at the time: Despite the amount of bad press Infinite Warfare received (it’s launch trailer is one of the most disliked videos in the history of YouTube), it seemed unlikely that any game in the Call of Duty franchise would have such poor preorder numbers, much lower than the likes of Doom, No Man’s Sky, and Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst.

How are you going to low ball Doom, No Mans Sky, and Mirrors Edge: Catalyst when they're all better then the last 3 COD's?

Potion Absolutely despised Black Ops 3, so if they are planing on keeping that pile of shit movement system you can count me out.

Black Ops 3 is the best new movement call of duty. They slowed it down a ton compared to AW which took away the skill factor. Now the skill factor is back so people who are bad, stay bad. People who are good, actually are good. There definitely could always be improvements, with every game, but movement is fixed and does not to be worse.

This game honestly could be good. I wouldn't judge it until release.

The pre-order statistics will never be a true representation of those who want to play Infinite Warfare when it's bundled with Cod 4 remaster.
