Final Fantasy 9 has arrived on Steam

Released 16 years ago on the original PlayStation, the PC version comes with Steam trading cards, hi-def movies and character models, auto-save, as well as the new cloud save feature which will allows players to used saved data to play across compatible devices.

It also features seven optional booster features such as high speed mode and no encounter mode.

Final Fantasy 9 was announced for PC and mobile in January, and released on iOS and Android in February.

It is available through Steam for 20% off at $16.79 until April 20, after which it will run you $20.99.

I'm not a sort of a guy to play these games but I just jsut play to find out what it's really like.

This game was brilliant on PS1 as a kid but i honestly never carried on with any of the other games, i guess it was mostly just down to the fact that i couldnt buy them then.

Im not interested in any Final Fantasy ive never been a fan of it so i will not be getting this.

One of my favourite PS1 games as a kid, almost certain I didn't complete all discs because of how young I was. It would be nice to re-visit this on Steam, but the price is quite high.
