Cross-network play is finally happening on Xbox One

The director of ID@Xbox One, Chris Charla announced that cross-network play is finally coming to Xbox One.

Cross-network play means you can play between Xbox One and Windows 10 Xbox Live games, as well as you’ll be able to play with friends on other consoles and PC networks.

This feature will be up to the developers if they want this in their game. If Xbox One players only want to play with those on the same platform, then that option will also be available to them.

We will see this feature first with Rocket League, which we expect to see the feature later this Spring.

This isn't really the first time to happen, they have had other games on the 360 that you could play with people on the pc "games with windows live" but there were very few. Shadow run being one of the few.

MushroomElm I would really like to see Black Ops 3 added to cross play. I have it on the PC and really love playing Zombies..But the lack of people on the PC variant of the game is sad. A couple thousand peaked at launch? Really. Ugh.

fps games are not good cross platform with mc, every console player would get shit on.

CoD has never been really popular on PC. Especially since there are already betters shooters.
