Gears of War Series Among Most Played Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

During the livestreams for the Season 1 finals of the Gears of War ESL league The Coalition Studio Hear Rod Fergusson revealed that the older chapters of the series available on Xbox One via backward compatibility have been quite popular.

According to Fergusson, among the nine most popular backward compatible titles, four were Gears of War and its sequels, 2, 3 and Judgement.

Quite obviously, the Xbox community loves Gears of War, so this isn’t too surprising. Hopefully we’ll get more news on Gears of War 4 soon to quench that thirst.

The Gears of War games are really fun but I never saw people playing them so the fact that they're getting attention again from backwards compatibility is actually kind of surprising.

This is awesome, Always loved the GOW series, I still sometimes play the first and second GOW gives me so many memories of when i was younger, That huge spider always shits me up though lol.
